Chiffons are a very light texture saris that are very valuable. The lightness of texture makes it an elegant formal wear and it falls on the wearer perfectly and drapes her beautifully. The sari becomes even more interesting with brocade work done on chiffon, which enhances the beauty of the sari manifold.

This chiffon sari comes in a beautiful double shade of light and dark grey that blend well into each other. The body is plain but the pallav and the border are exquisitely woven. They are woven in biscuit color threads. The border has beautifully carved arches amidst entwined creepers.

The Pallav is very rich with carved window motifs, that are commonly found on the Mughal architecture in India. Brocade work essentially involves intricate leaf and floral pattern, that are closely woven making the sari very rich. Brocades form the traditional courtly and wedding textiles of India.

The sari also has an attached blouse piece, that is also richly woven with flowers and creepers.
