As everyone is aware that Krishna plays an important role in the religious, social and cultural life of India and his life stories have attracted artists of all ages. Here, he stands under a stylized Banyan tree, with Radha, enraptured, standing on his left. They both have a nimbus around their heads denoting their divine status. Krishna is holding his flute, not playing it presently. He stands with his legs crossed at the ankles. Besides a lot of jewelry, he wears a long floral garland. His ornate crown holds his favorite peacock feathers as well. He wears a tilak on his forehead, a glint in his eyes and a mysterious smile on his lips. Radha has a strange, dream-like beauty as she raises her hand to her cheek in wonderment. She wears a choli and a billowing skirt. Her posture is similar to that of her divine counterpart, and she is wearing jewelry to adorn every part of her body. Krishna's pet cow stands immediately behind them, turning its head towards the radiant personality of the blue-bodied blue-bodied Krishna.
The romantic theme is vivacious though colors lack the same. A beautiful floral border encases the whole scenario.
