This kantha stitch sari from Bengal made in the quilt-stitch pattern comes in tussar silk texture. Tussar silk saris are light and have sheen that is characteristic of silk saris. Hence tussar silk saris make a good evening and formal wear. This kantha stitch sari comes in two shades of green that contrast each other. While the body is light green, the accompanying border is dark green. There are full kantha stitch patterns of floral and creeper designs on the entire sari with green, yellow, red and black threads.
