Does Bhakti Appear In The Rgveda?
Does Bhakti Appear In The Rgveda?
Description
About the Author:

Jeanine Miller was born in China of French parents and educated in Australia. She spent 30 years in Britain where she worked in the British Museum for 20 years. She studied Sanskrit and received the degree of M.Litt. in the Vedas from Durham University. She has specially learnt the Vedic mantras.

She has dedicated her life to bringing out to the West, in the rational language which the West can understand, the spiritual message of the Vedas. This message has been missed by so many Western Sanskrit scholars, although nowadays, there is a tendency towards a better appreciation and a deeper understanding of the Vedas. The purpose of the present booklet is to refute, by means of a complete array of quotations, the view of scholars, Western and even Indian, that bhakti or devotion does not appear in the Rgveda.

Testimonials

I have purchased many books from your company. Your packaging is excellent, service is great and attention is prompt. Please maintain this quality for this order also!
Raghavan, USA
My order arrived today with plenty of time to spare. Everything is gorgeous, packing excellent.
Vana, Australia
I was pleased to chance upon your site last year though the name threw me at first! I have ordered several books on Indian theatre and performance, which I haven't found elsewhere (including Amazon) or were unbelievably exorbitantly priced first editions etc. I appreciate how well you pack the books in your distinctive protective packaging for international and domestic mailing (for I order books for India delivery as well) and the speed with which my order is delivered, well within the indicated time. Good work!
Chitra, United Kingdom
