Dr. S.K. Pathak was born on 6th August, 1960 at Simri Bazaar, District, Buxar, Bihar. He has completed his graduation (B.A.M.S) from Bihar University, Muzzafarpur in 1985 and completed his Post Graduation (M.D. Ayurveda) in the subject of Kriya Sharir from state Ayurveda College, Lucknow. Lucknow University. (U.P).
He has started his academic carrier from S.S.M.D. Ayurvedic College, Moga, Punjab in 1992. He was appointed as lecturer in the subject of Kriya Sharir. He was promoted on the post of reader in 1997 and he was again promoted as professor in 2002. He was also appointed as a medical superintendent and Vice Principal in the same institution. He has also worked in G. J. Patel, Ayurvedic College and Research Centre, Anand, Gujarat as professor. He has also work as a professor in G. B. Ayurveda College, Rohtak, Haryana.
Later on, he was appointed as professor cum principal in july 2014 in Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra Ayurveda Medical college and Research Centre, Shobhit University, Gangoh, Saharanpur. Dr. S. K. Pathak joined as a principal cum professor in OM ayurvedic medical college Roorkee Haridwar Uttrakhand.
Dr. S. K. Pathak has again joined on the same rank & designation post in Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra ayurveda medical college in 2020 and is still working as founder principal cum professor. Dr. S. K. Pathak has again joined as a professor in Himalaya Ayurveda Medical College, chikshi, paliganj, patna, Bihar 801110. Dr. S.K. Pathak has attended and delivered many lectures as a resource person in many national as well as international seminar and written many articles published in national & international magazines. He has prepared software for the examination of Prakriti of the individual and after a long efforts & investigation he has become success in the examination of Nadi Priksha in Ayurveda through ancient system. Modern portion of the book is written by Dr. Nikhil Pathak.
