In any number of descriptions, by any number of people, There is no question of great wonder, what-so-ever!
By Who's divine will Leelas are exhibited, It is impossible to find His limits!
The happiness bestowed by the divine touch, Cannot be uncovered by any number of words!
However much of this nectarine communication is drunk,
It cannot quench your thirst, satisfaction never.
Such is this divine incarnation of the Supreme Being, In the form of Chitti Sai, beloved tiny Sai!
He names Himself 'Puttaparthiesha', the Lord of Puttaparthi!
These words of Truth are not believed by any, Only by coming close, devotees come to know!
Sri Baba 1950.
It was a sweet delight when this beautiful Telugu poem, gifted by Swami, was found in one of the old diaries of the Old Mandir days from more than fifty years back. This poem is most suitable to start this book during this millennium, just like a precious diamond studded in glittering gold. Is there anything not known to our Trikala Gyani Sai, the knower of the past, the present and the future? Salutations to Triloka Sai Paramatma, the Supreme Master of the Universe, Who very well knew that the above gem would fall into place, in this book after five decades. It is immense happiness to hear the Lord talk about Himself. Though He is very clear that He is beyond human perception, beyond words and descriptions, it is a solace to the inquisitive mind, to know that the devotees coming close to Him shall gain some realization. So, it should be our sincere effort to get closer and closer to Him. Billions of devotees have surrendered at the feet of "Mayamanusha Veshadhari Sai," the Lord of Maya, playing His Divine Drama, in a Human Form, and are immersed in Brahmananda, the supreme bliss. By coming close, the devotees are sure to enjoy His proximity and so begin to understand the principle of this Divine Actor.
It was already predicted that in this age of Kali, there will be an incarnation of the Kalki Avatar with all its majesty, to obliterate the sins of mankind. Out of His immense love, the Lord, with all His compassion has descended on this earth as our Saieshwara, to redeem us, and this is known to many of us. Our Sai Prabhu is the knower of every heart, of every being, as He is the indweller. Thus, the whole of mankind is sanctified by His grace, since this Sai Muralidhara has benevolently revealed the inner secrets of devotion and elucidated the principle of Atma, the self, in very simple terms. In the first book, "Anyatha Saranam Nasti-Other than You, refuge there is none', we fully digested the divine miracles of this rare God, in the form of Young Sai, and for the first time enjoyed the divine fragrance of Vijanthimaladhari, the wearer of the garland of heavenly flowers. We sang His glory with all our energy, with a full throat, to the delight of our hearts. Now we shall proceed a little deeper to understand His divine nature and His exceptional qualities and be soaked in that bliss.
In the Bhagawadgita, we have read about the naughty child Krishna and enjoyed His amusing mischief. Today, we not only read the various books of Sai Bhagawadgita, but also hear about Sai leelas from one and all, which flow from all directions. Besides this, the more fortunate ones whole-heartedly witness these with their own eyes and float on waves of joy. Just as the nectarine leelas of Krishna swept through the Dwapara Yuga, now we are being inundated by the nectarine leelas of Sai, in this Kali Yuga. Then, it was the endless stories of Krishna, but now it is the very essence of Atmatatwam, the principle of Atma. We had heard so much about the playful pranks of naughty Krishna, but we were never gifted with the opportunity to see them. This tiny tot, Gopala, grew up as a chubby-cheeked baby to become the King of Mathura. He earned the name of Pandava Pakshapathi, as He was the great friend of the Pandavas. He was the bestower of peace to the whole world by preaching the sacred Bhagawadgita, amidst the battlefield of Mahabharata, and became the Heroic One, victorious in every field of activity.
In the same way, our Sai Krishna, too, immersed everyone in delight with His mischievous deeds, playing the role of Impish Sai. He grew up being very naughty as Bala Sai; He always preached the power of love at every stage; He immersed us in the quintessence of His love, and without us knowing, shouldered the responsibility of bringing about the realization of Atmatatwa, the self, which is mightier than the propagation in the Mahabharatha; done in such simple, tender, understandable words, in such a soothing manner that the whole of humanity is inundated with delight. Now, will it not be our duty and privilege to taste this delicacy fully! To derive the best out of this, we have to move from the stage of leelas to the stage of spirituality! Let us now march forward, holding the banner of spirituality and digest the essence of Atmatatwa, the principle of Atma. Come, we shall tread our path of spirituality together!
The wise have said so much about "God in Human Form." We had only heard about the Avatara Purusha, God incarnate in human form. But today, we are fortunate to witness Him with our own eyes, right in front of us. It is but inevitable that some preliminary doubts shall arise in our minds. Why is it necessary for God to come in human form? What is the inner meaning for this descent? What is the secret hidden in this advent? These vital factors have to be perceived by all of us! In this vast universe of Lord Sai we are the most fortunate ones, gifted with hearts filled with love. It would be our duty to surrender this blessed heart, back to the Lord, by filling it with the essence of devotion, with all humility. Such a Bhakthi Marg was followed by the Gopikas, and, even to this day, they stand as the icons in the path of devotion. Incessantly tasting such nectarine sweetness of His divine leelas inevitably gives rise to an astringent taste. Well, it would not be easy to relish sweets all the time!
