Book Description
About The Book

Jagadguru Vaibhav is a pictorial panorama of the glory of His Holiness Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji of Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri.

Brought out with the divine grace of Sri Sharadamba and the blessings of His Holiness, this album is a tribute to his greatness, presented on the occasion of his 61 st Vardhanti. He is a continuing source of inspiration and a link to our glorious tradition. Tattvaloka is happy to present rare photographs of His Holiness thematically in this album. Sri Adi Sankara instituted six forms of Ishta Devata worship--Ganapati, Siva, Vishnu, Subrahmanya, Surya and Sakti. His Holiness has performed P'1jas to these deities at Sringeri and other places and conducted festivals in their honour. Some of these colourfulp~as form part of this album.

Guru Bhakti and Guru Puja are conspicuous in the anughraha bhashanas of His Holiness. He has performed puja to the Guru Parampara from Veda Vyasa and Adi Sankara to his guru, Sri Abhinava Vidya Tirtha Mahaswamigal, portraying his adherence to the legacy of Sringeri. His Holiness is the spirit behind the kumbabhishekam of the new Sankara temples at Kalady and Sringeri. Pictures highlighting these events are also covered. As a protector of S anatana Dharma, His Holiness has done a lot to promote Vedic culture. Scholars are honoured every year. Satsangs, such as the Ganapati Vakyartha Sabhas, are convened annually. Temple festivals are celebrated to promote our cultural heritage. A chapter of this album focuses on such events.

In carrying out his mission, His Holiness is supported by religious and spiritual leaders, statesmen, political leaders and philanthropists. They come often to seek his blessings. A few photographs of such events are also presented.

Service to humanity is service to God. His Holiness, as an embodiment of mercy like Adi Sankara, shows his leadership in helping the poor and the needy. Extension of help to the physically challenged is given priority. The album highlights such occasions.
