Satprem was a French author and spiritual guide who was dedicated to the study and practice of Sri Aurobindo's Integral Yoga.
The nature of consciousness, evolution, and the transformation of mankind are explored in Satprem's books, which also include "The Adventure of Consciousness", "Sri Aurobindo or the Adventure of Consciousness", and "The Mind of the Cells", among others. In addition, he wrote extensively on his own experiences with Integral Yoga, explaining the difficulties and stumbling blocks he encountered on his own path to enlightenment.
Satprem engaged himself in Integral Yoga and grew close to The Mother, who served as both his spiritual leader and mentor. He also started publishing books about his experiences and thoughts, which quickly attracted a large readership both in India and abroad.
