Fashion is all about presenting yourself to the world stylishly and elegantly. It is the combination of several small things that add up to enhance your personality and your appeal. From your dress to the kind of fashion accessories you choose and even the footwear you opt for everything contributes to making you look trendy.

However, while getting the perfect stylish look comes naturally to some people, others need to invest time and effort in learning the nuances of this art. If you belong to the latter category, then these tips will definitely help you in making the right fashion choices to get that perfect and refined look every time you step outside.

Choose The Right Attire

Choosing the right attire is the first and the most important aspect of looking stylish. The choice of dress depends on where you are going and for what purpose. If you are going to various places, you should wear something that will be suitable for every environment.

Wearing the wrong dress to the wrong place is the biggest fashion faux pas you can commit and can only result in embarrassment. So, take a minute to think about what you should wear after gaining a clear understanding of what your itinerary will be.

Check The Fitting of The Dress

Whether you are wearing an ethnic outfit or a modern one, you should make sure that it fits you well. This essentially means that it should neither be too loose that you have to constantly keep adjusting it, nor too tight to make you feel trapped and suffocated.

You should also check the dress for any loose threads or weak stitching before putting it on. Putting in a little time and effort in making these last-minute checks can prevent any chances of wardrobe malfunction besides enhancing your comfort and style. It is also advisable to lay out your dress in advance after checking it thoroughly so that you do not have to face any last-minute rush of stitching or mending it.

Fashion Accessories

Once you have chosen the right dress it is time to choose the most appropriate fashion accessories for the same. The right fashion accessories complement the attire and enhance your personality, which is why it is important to choose them with care.

From belts to footwear, jewelry to sunglasses, and even gloves and hats, you should make sure that any accessory you choose goes well with the attire. In case you are not sure, you may seek the advice of your partner or friend or even try wearing them together to check if they create a balanced look.

Handbags for Women

For most women, stepping out without their handbags is like leaving an important part of their personality behind. However, just like accessories, choosing the right handbag to match the dress and the occasion is of utmost importance. Try to maintain a decent collection of both traditional Indian handbags and modern clutches and purses to go with different dresses.

For traditional occasions like weddings, festivals, and family get-togethers, you can choose a small potli-style handbag that you can tie to your bracelet for easy and safe carriage. For events like office parties, business meets, and cocktail parties a shoulder purse or a clutch is a better option.

Must-Have Classic Jewelry Pieces

Wearing the right jewelry enhances your overall look and appeal and helps you create a unique style statement. In recent years the trend of wearing light minimalistic jewelry, especially earrings, chains, and even cocktail rings, has become quite popular. However, this has not diminished the demand for must-have classic pieces of jewelry that are worn on special occasions.

Most such jewelry pieces hold great traditional significance and not wearing them, especially on special occasions is often frowned upon. The most popular of these pieces include heavy kundan or polki necklace, studded jhumkas, brooches, anklets, and waist belts to name a few.

Scarf Tying Techniques

Sacraves form an integral part of traditional Indian attire for both men and women. The fabric, design, and length of a scarf for men are significantly different from the one designed for females.

The style of wearing this clothing accessory also differs considerably among both men and women, with the scarf for women worn in several different styles. Tweaking these styles only slightly can change your appearance and look noticeably.

Wrap it around your head like a turban or drape it over your neck or shoulders, or simply style it with a loose hanging knot. You can try different styles with this extremely versatile piece of garment to get that perfect look.

Wrapping Up

Looking stylish is about having the right attitude and dressing up perfectly for every occasion. The above pointers can help you gain a basic understanding of what you need to do and what you need to avoid to look your best every time you move out and avoid making any major fashion mistakes.

  • When choosing a dress, consider your body type, the occasion, color, fabric, and details to find the right one for you.

  • When choosing accessories, think about the occasion and pick jewelry, bags, and shoes that complement your outfit.

  • For formal events, go for elegant and sophisticated accessories, while for casual events, you can be more playful and experiment with different styles.

  • Don't forget to pay attention to the small details, such as your hairstyle and makeup, to complete your overall look.

  • The most important thing is to feel comfortable and confident in what you're wearing, so trust your instincts and choose what makes you feel your best.

Vishnu Sahasranamam: The Story Behind It
2 April 2022
During a puja, have you at any point recited a mantra for ten minutes or multiple times? Most likely not! You might recall being told to recount it multiple times. Numerous Hindus have 108 in their passwords. Organizations have made extraordinary advertisements and logos with 108. However, for what reason is 108 seen as blessed? The response, very much like every other response you will get from your folks, is that it lies in math and science. Vedic sages, pre-dating current numerical equations, had everything sorted out! As per Vedic cosmology, 108 is the premise of creation, which addresses the universe and all our reality. In Hinduism, we accept that external cosmology should reflect our internal spirituality because we are all the same. It is said that the number 108 units address the distance between our body and the God that resides inside each one of us.
Nine Forms of Goddess Parvati Consort of Lord Shiva

Parvati, the Hindu goddess of love, devotion, beauty, marriage, and fertility, is of course, among the most important and revered deities in the Hindu faith. Given all that she represents, it is certainly no surprise. As the goddess of love, she’s known to be an especially benevolent figure. She is likewise revered as the Mother goddess in Hinduism, who is known to be kind, gentle, nurturing, and loving. She is considered to be a voice of reason, freedom, strength and encouragement. However, there are also aspects of her that are destructive, violent, fierce and ferocious. Her contrasting natures show Parvati as a figure who is able and willing to adapt to Pratima or reality and what the circumstances call for or require from her as the mother goddess. The name Parvati comes from Sanskrit and means “daughter of the mountains” or “she of the mountains”. A fitting name for Parvati who is, in fact, the daughter of Himavat. Himavat is considered to be the very embodiment of the Himalayan mountains and his wife Mena is said to originate from the asparas, which is a group of female cloud and mountain spirits. Aside from the name Parvati, the goddess of love is called by many other appellations, including Uma, Shailaja, Girirajaputri, Haimavathi, Lalitha, Gowri, Aparna, and Shivakamini, just to name a few.
