The National Exhibition is a regular ongoing programme of the Lalit Kala Akademi, which was set up with a serious purpose of promoting latest trends of Contemporary Art throughout the country. The Akademi after organising forty two successful National Exhibitions, is organising 43rd National show in the premises of Karnataka Chitrakala Parishad, Bangalore. The National Exhibition is open to competition to all the artists in India. This prestigious event covers selected works and showcase developing trends not only in painting, sculpture and graphic but also brings in photography and ceramic which are integral part of the Visual arts.
