I have undertaken to write this small informative book on Amber with the sole intention to provide the authentic history to the tourists, foreign and domestic; who visit Amber. I have felt the need of it because in the effort to please the tourists many stories are fabricated by taking liberties with history and culture and thus a completely false picture is presented. I Strongly feel that this is a very damaging and gross Injustice to the history and culture.

I have tried my best to provide the authentic history of the Kachchawah rulers of Amber and the Fort in a concise manner and at a low price so that it is affordable. If there is any shortcomings the fault is entirely mine.
