I am deeply indebted to Bhagavan for inspiring and guiding me to write this second book on "Bhagawan Baba's Universal Message of Love and Unity of Religions" as an answer to the present day problems afflicting the whole world.
Baba says "Religion is the highest plane of human thought and life. The intense love that humanity has ever known has come from Religion, and the most diabolical hatred that humanity has known has also come from Religion". The noblest word of peace that the world has ever heard, "Love", comes from great sages and saints and avatars.
The foundation of all Religions is morality, which is equated with selfless love. The Religion of Love is itself the religion of man; the purpose of it is to see Unity in Diversity and to cultivate Universal Love without regard to caste, creed, religion, country etc. Bhagawan says "Religion brings out the humanness in man and enables him to live in harmony with his fellowmen. It demonstrates the unity that underlines the diversity in the world. Love, sacrifice, service and righteousness are four limbs of religion. Religion is like an under current that sustains the whole of Humanity." This profound truth is contained in the Upanishadie Dictum which is forgotton by man, and has turned out to be suicidal for him. So. Bhagavan wants to remind man of his divine origin and help him retrack himself.
World is undergoing a tremendous change, especially in the level of its metaphysical thoughts. Baba says "Every human being has the capacity to awaken himself or herself to the enlivening influence of the "Supreme Consciousness" and thus elevate oneself to great spiritual heights."
Baba is greatly concerned with the grave crisis that has gripped the world, and rues "The whole world is on fire. I have, therefore, come to put down that conflagration and rescue man from self-destruction by putting him on the right path."
Baba's concept of unifying all faiths is raised on four Pillars of Sathya, Dharma, Shanthi and Prema, to transform 'man, the individual' into 'Man, the Universal'.
Therefore, in the light of Baba's golden words of inspiration, I have made here a sincere attempt to place on record in this book for the benefit of all Sai devotees and others. Love radiates from Baba, it envelops and lifts us all to the crest of happiness. He wants us to see unity of all Religions, Unity in Diversity, Unity in Divinity and to understand his cosmic paradox.
