This book titled "Bloom & Blossom" is indeed a passport to Self-Healing of the Human Body System. The Author of this book has endeavoured to unfold the power of some healing words "Mantras" which by way of their tonicity, strength, direction of action, wavelength pattern stimulate various unseen "Astral Chakras" experienced by the Yogis, Sages, Saints and Mahatamas. This in cunjunction with the balanced human diet paves a way to promote positive health, life span and consequently conquer infirmities of the old age.
It gives me immense pleasure to note that the author has devised a selective few self-modulating breathing "Mantras" which when understood and applied properly in consonance with inhalation and exhalation of the breath help not only in combating stress related psycho-somatic disorders but also help rejuvenating the body, mind and soul. I have personally tried many of the "Mantras" devised by the author specific to the specific organ-system of the body and find their underlying truthfulness of target action. I am free and frank in saying that the "Mantras" devised by the author are a matter of experience only.
This book is a saga of truthful experiences of the author on the effect of various breath-modulating sounds for not only self-healing the body-mind-complex but also for embarking onto the journey within to attain "Enlightenment".
A section of this book is devoted to improve eye-sight, cognitive perception, memory besides managing almost all kinds of psycho-somatic ailments. Even the dreadful and so far incurable diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's have been managed successfully. I am told by the author.
The author deserves a bundle of congratulations for discovering the various phenomena of different resonances of different healing words giving thereby a birth to a new Science. This is a step well ahead of its times. I enthusiastically recommend this book to be read by one and all.
Dr. L.R. Chowdhry M.Sc., Ph.D. has been a Nuclear Physicist by profession, with brilliant academic and research record. He was initiated into Transcendental Meditation in Hyderabad in 1976 and later participated in a Conference on Science and Transcendental Meditation; in which Maharishi Mahesh Yogi was present.
Also, the author came across a very authentic book on Yoga, "The Complete Illustrated Book of Yoga by Swami-Vishnudevananda where-in on page 323 are given the list of words which can give resonant sonic energy to various Astral body Chakras.
Then, he read a very meaningful article in Scientific American, where using Ultra sonic Waves, the entropy of the system was made reversible, a normally irreversible phenomenon like old age. This triggered his imagination. Why not use the power of the sound words to rejuvenate, and thus reverse old age.
And, since 1990, after his retirement, he has applied his keen scientific intellect in studying the effect of each spoken word on various Astral Body Chakras and their healing effect on various gross body ailments. Based on this, he recently read a paper entitled "The Role of Healing Words in Managing Parkinson's and Alzheimer's Diseases"; in First International Conference on Yoga in Daily Life, held in December, 1996 in New Delhi. This work was acclaimed as a very powerful technique in Self Healing. He is presently Director of Rejuvenation Centre at 1004, Sector-4, Gurgaon India-122001.
Health is defined as the physical, mental, and social well-being and not mere absence of disease. Mantras or sounds whether discernible or non-discernible have beneficial effects to promote positive health. The author has experimented on himself the effects of a wide-spectrum of breath-modulating 'Mantras' on self-healing as well as his attempt to attain higher conciousness. This book is a truthful experience using Mantras which he claims convincingly, to have prophylactic, promotive and curative potentials.
This book is unique in presenting a secular approach to Mantra Yoga by screening out any religious tint as he has prefered non-discernible sounds. The resonance of the breath-modulating sounds which the author designates as 'Mantras' can stimulate various astral Chakras and endocrine system to enrich the vitality thereby the quality of life. Breath opens the gates for 'prana' (life-energy). The author has identified specific sounds (Mantras) which may have therapeutic potentials, in some specific psychosomatic ailments and may improve the sensory and cognitive ability. This book, I am confident, will be read with great enthusiasm by health care professionals, and patients of psychosomatic ailments, scientists probing into the Indian mysticism, teachers and practitioners of Mantra Yoga and almost the whole cross spectrum of population interested in improving the quality of life.
I congratulate the author for his successful endeavour in dedicating this benevolent gift to the society.
