The theme of this study is mix of two separate worlds; one is spiritual world and the other is material world. We will be reflecting on ideology, which in a sense belongs to spiritual world and we would bounce the ideology on the society, which very much operates in material world. Ideology is supposedly static and sacred; whereas society is always mobile and mundane. Since Sri Sri Thakur Anukul Chandra has not seen these two worlds apart from each other, we are venturing to combine these two and reflect on human life on social fabric.
This study, presenting symbiosis of two antithetical forces, is multidisciplinary. The challenge becomes more intricate as we deal with shoots of distortion in the ideology. Obvious object of the exercise is to prevent distortion to the extent it has not already sprouted. We have attempted to chalk out a reform path for the areas which are already corroded by distortionary dialectics.
We are conducting this study with passion for the ideology, and we would like to see the society a better place to live in. We do not want civilization to miss out the contributions made by the prophet of the age. We are following up the subject with academic tools of enquiry, estimation and analysis. This is a reflective, experiential and observational research in sociology and culture. The subject spills over and covers such multiple domains as socio cultural studies with respect to popular movement, mass psychology and history. Society will benefit, if the actors in social and cultural space see value in this analysis and take pains to follow the reform agenda.
We believe that Society needs Sri Sri Thakur, in as much the same way as Sri Sri Thakur needs every member of the society. This exercise is inspired by the fact that fifty-five years after Sri Sri Thakur's being off the scene, there appears to be renewed interest for Sri Sri Thakur by the society. A new generation has come to active stage who believes in happening like scientific spiritualism, evolutionary growth and rejuvenation of nature. Nature abhors status quo, as every moment in nature wants to be momentous. Whether Sri Sri Thakur's movement, after fifty five years of journey without Sri Sri Thakur's physical guidance, needs a social reality appraisal? A course correction? If the answer is in affirmation, then what are those changes?
