The monotonous life of ritualistic Pandit Chaturvedi is encroached upon by an abandoned infant. Left with no choice, the priest grudgingly adopts the child. His life swivels into a whirlwind of laughter and joy, like the rigid priest has never experienced before. But fate knocks at his door in the guise of a woman who stakes claim to the boy.
The priest’s world is shattered when he learns that his son Kartikeya is born of a Muslim mother.
