It is my great privileged to writing a preface of my own publication "Dimensions of Vedic studies" a Collection of rearch papers over the last few years (from 2009 to 2019) I have had occasions to write and present fairly on various aspects of vedic studies in various International, National and Regional Seminars, Conferences. These research oriented papers and materials have from time to time been published in various journals, souvenirs of conferences and seminars. Few of my good friends suggested me to collectively publish a book for the research studenty and common readers of world.
I have slightly edited some of them and added a few new articles for this volume. The main thrust of the papers are on Ppaippalāda recestion af Atharva Veda. Out as eight research papers, four papers are related to paippalada studies. All these five papers are written during the PhD research period. Rest four papers are related to Rgveda and vedic literature.
The present volume claim a little: it has for the first time present collectively before the scholars a wide ranging study of the paippalada recension and other Vedic studies. This book neednot necessarily offer any uniform conclusion. It tends to offer some new channels of research into the various aspects of vedice studies in general and paippalāda recension in special. This little attempt may be spark the eyes as scholars and help them in their future studies.
