A street singer and dancer, Anil has the burning ambition to make it big as a disco dancer. Overcoming obstacles he becomes Jimmy, the rage of disco dancing. His of fair with Rita, drives her father, the industrialist Oberoi to extreme jealousy. He plans to kill Jimmy by shooting 5000 volts of electricity into Jimmy’s electric guitar. Jimmy is sved in the nick of time, but loses his mother. This haunts him and he cannot sing or dance any more. His stage appearances become one line of disasters. At last during one such performance a voice rings out, a voice singing one of his favourite songs. Whose voice is it? Will it save Jimmy?
