With our feet firmly on the ground, and the hands that can touch the stars, BABA aims at creating the conditions for the birth of a new kind of human being, characterised as "GOLDEN AGE". The message of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba encompasses both the timeless wisdom of the East and the highest potential of Western Science and technology. They accelerate the pace of contemporary life contributing to the science of inner transformation and an approach to meditation. The discourses of Swamy support moving toward a more joyous and less stressful life. Each speech is a combination of methods of Self understanding with awareness techniques. All seekers will find encouragement and inspiration in His divine discourses. Knowing His message is power and a victory march. Understanding His message is liberation. So no surprise if one always yearns to know more. The interest grows more and more. Bhagawan Baba offers us a new perspective, a new way of looking at life and a new way of living. In the interviews Baba responds very personally to each individual with unique insight and support. We beyond doubt enjoy peace in His benign presence. Baba gives us the gift of inner purity with which we can overcome the perversities of the mind. We attain the divine experience of eternal duty, fulfilling our lives. Baba's teachings emphasise the expansiveness of heart to embrace everything. Baba in His divine discourses transmits to devotees secrets that no philosophy can explicate. A constant reminder that "I am a Man and not an animal" will keep us above animality. The language of the mind differs based on the temperament/Samskaraas of the individual. But the language of the heart is one, value based. The reality is beyond or transcendental. This is very much conveyed in our Upanishads. A humble attempt is made to understand these aspects in our Sunday Sathsangs. A ritual is spiritual when it is performed in full awareness of the significance and applied to our lives. It is in this direction a study of Sai Literature is made with reference to festivals like Onam and Navarathri. Srimad Ramayana is an epic of immense value and relevance today. Baba explains Ramayana as the unfolding of the drama of the highest human life. The role of Rama was that of a human being desirous of acting comfortably to the highest ideals of Dharma, the best traditions of his time. We gain by studying the epic as a human document rather than as a religious book. Bhagawan eloquently elucidates various dimensions on this great epic Ramayana. This subject is also discussed in our Sunday Satsangs.
