Time flows like a river; it does not wait for anyone. A philosopher once said that we cannot bathe in the same river twice. When we return to a river, the water of the past has flowed away; the water has changed. What beauty! This perfectly describes the impermanence in creation. Everything is constantly changing, but we do not truly observe everything carefully and attentively.
Life is a flow, and we flow with its current every moment, although we are often unaware of it. All but a few are flowing down the stream. A blessed few have gathered the strength to swim against the current and experience the challenges of life as a source of eternal bliss.
What is time? Life is nothing but time. Just as many small rings join together to make a beautiful chain, every moment joins to the next to create a day or a month, and eventually our lifetimes. We regularly change the calendar, but we do not change our attitudes so easily. Now is the time to change our lives in a positive way. Life is nothing but the flow of time that can be compared to a wheel that keeps our lives in motion. Everything is gradually influenced by the flux of change that never waits or offers us a choice.
Life is a one-way journey; it is not possible to take a detour. Every moment of time arrives only once.
