"As I was immersed, I had a feeling of something resembling electrical current, an energy, passing from the healers to me, permeating me wholly, rejuvenating me and invigorating my tired cells. I enjoyed this feeling and I wanted to believe that the pleasure it caused would also heal me. Suddenly, I had the notion of myself participating in my own treatment and attempting to apply what little I had learned. 'Would I be able to do it?' I wondered."
Her illness became a motive to seek spirituality, ultimately leading her to devote herself in learning and practicing Spiritual Healing, as taught in the Spiritual Centre "Omilos Eksipiretiton" (The Servers' Society).
Every page of Kiki Keramida's book is teemed with the power, the will and the creativity she expressed as a spiritual healer.
An overwhelming book, an essential help for the human body and soul.
KIKI KERAMIDA, The author was born in 1929 in Volos, Greece, where she spent her childhood and adolescence and where she married in 1958. One year later, she and her husband moved to Athens where they had a daughter. She passed away at the beginning of 1997.
Her interest in the human ability to have a positive influence on the state of one's health had begun in 1972. At that time, she herself had faced a serious health problem. In 1982 she became acquainted with Omilos Eksipiretiton (The Servers' Society) Spiritual Centre and its founder, philosopher and writer Master Dimitris Kakalidis. Since then she followed the teaching of the Society and was trained in spiritual healing. Later on, she assumed responsibility for the organisation and supervision of the Spiritual Healing section of the Society.
When I received the first manuscripts of Mrs Kiki Keramida's book, I was pleasantly surprised. I did not know that she had begun writing a book, I only knew that she was considering the issue, wanting to follow the prompts of the Master, who had advised her to write down her personal experiences from spiritual healing. The Master, poet and philosopher Dimitris Kakalidis is the founder of the spiritual centre "Omilos Ekspiretiton (The Servers' Society)". Throughout his entire life, alongside his writings, the Master taught the Society's members proper human relationships, self-knowledge and spiritual principles. As discussed in the following chapters, spiritual healing was also part of his teachings, followed by those who were interested in this vocation.
My acquaintance with Mrs Kiki dates back to 1982, when she first came to the Society. Since then a friendship grew between us which was based mainly on our common interests; our spiritual course, our search for the causes of humanity's problems and our inclination to participate with every possible way in the efforts made by many peo ple to solve these problems. We were both disciples of the Master and often attended his teachings together.
Mrs Kiki showed a particular interest in spiritual healing from the beginning of her discipleship. Because of this, soon she was entrusted with the responsibility of organizing the healing section which had started to operate within the Society under the Master's guidance. From that time she devoted herself completely to this project. She set up the groups of healers, dealt with the monitoring of patients who asked for the help of spiritual healing and she undertook the task of conveying to those who wanted to become healers the teachings she received from the Master as head of the healing section. Her experiences from her contact with patients, from the healings that she and others performed, as well as from her personal course as a spiritual healer were significant, as will become apparent in the following chapters.
