Ragini and Kamini were being brought up by their mother and father separately because some major differences in the morals of the parents resulted in their separation. Ragini followed her mother’s principles and grew up as a simple woman as well as a creative poetess whereas Kamini progressed on the path of rock-n-roll civilization according to her father's choice. Ragini got married to journalist Balraj and Kamini to dance director Natwar.
Kamini ruined her house and herself due to her ultra modern way of living. Natwar was separated from his father and lost his younger brother Raju. His wife’s extravagancy hot temperament and intolerable mannerisms made him a frustrated man.
