Sri M. Seeta Rama Rao A senior teacher a dedicated propagator and a rare researcher in Vedic Mathematics.
Provided algebraic proofs to the formulate of Sri Bharati Krishna Teerthaji
An innovative teacher full of mathematical invention in the field of Vedic Maths.
A recent innovation of Sri Rao Ganita Avadhaanam is depicted here briefly but effectively.
The hard science of Mathematics gets the soft shape of an art parallel to the poetic Avadhaanam of Andhra Pradesh
A new technique to ignite quickness and perfectness in a young maths student.
A fresh approach to unbutton the tricks of numerical mathematics.
Come on jump into a happy pond of mathematical miracles and enjoy the intellectual swim!!
Even thought the term Avadhanna was drawn from the store of technical terms related to Vedic recitals it was given a special treatment which converted it into a poetic art and was possessed exclusive by Telugu poets since at least one millennium. It was later attempted to be adopted into Samskrit literature but however other states of India did not catch it up well. Thus it has become an exclusive art of Andhra Pradesh barring a few attempts by the kannadigas and the Hindi poets.
The central core of Avadhanna both literally and technically is the power of the memory. Tricky and arousing techniques of poesy constitute its outer structure. Usually several well versed questioners pose poetic question to the performer. The questions are to be answered by him in a poetic way in the same sequence of the questions and finally he should be able to repeat the whole set of questions and long poetic answers without missing a single syllable. This roughly is the process of a poetic Avadhaana. If this process involves eight questioners it is called Astaavadhaana. The principle can be extended to any number of questioners say 100 (sata) then it is Sataavadaana say 1000 (sahasra) then it is Sahasraavadhaana and so on.
Now Sri M Seetarama Rao a well known teacher & researcher of Vedic Mathematics invented a new plastic surgery by which he could convert a poet process into a mathematical one. This was possible for him due to the hither and unknown capabilities of the wonderful Vedic Mathematics propounded by Sri Bharati Krishna Tirthaji.
Western researchers proved that the Vedic Mathematics has got the intrinsic capacity of blossoming the right and left hemispheres of a tender brain where as the usual western mathematical system can blossom the left one only. Added to this Mr. Seetarama Rao has recognized the great mathematical experts like the world renowned Sakuntala Devi have been utilizing some of the Vedic Mathematical principles in their mathematical feats knowingly or unknowingly.
This revelation prompted Mr. Rao leap a few steps forward and invent new mathematical feats and carve up an artistic structure out of a stone like mathematical bulk. He named the new sculpture consisting of several artistic mathematical curves as Ganitaavadhaana.
He could have tried to popularize and focus himself as a mathematical wonder by exhibiting these unusual skills but being a true teacher by tendency training and tradition he started imparting this knowledge to young kids and make them perform the circus of Ganitaavadhaana in public and make them not only popular but also successful in higher education.
