(Bhagawan Ramana Maharshi's 42 select and reset verses) Verses in Sanskrit, Transliteration, Translation of words, verse Translation and practical application purport)
(Bhagawan's Select and Reset Gita Verses)
On potential advice of the President Shri Ramanan Sunderam of the Ramana Ashram, Tiruvannamalai, T.N., on the instance of my discussions with him on my activities on HRD / Productivity through Indian values based on Shrimad Bhagawat, Vishnu Sahasranama, in Feb. '97, 1 ventured on getting my father-in-law writing the Vedic scripture Shrimad Bhagavad Gita the song celestial of Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi in 42 verses (the Essence of the Gita) for the practical application in the industrial houses and societies.
My father-in-law endeavoured his best to translate into practical application all these 42 verses and in the sequence so reset by R. M. for the chronological evolution of the theme of Gita as explained by Lord Self (KRISHNA) to individual self (Jiva Arjuna and all of us) for attaining peace and tranquillity here and BLISS hereafter.
This effort is done at a time when its need is found of the most paramount importance even by politicians like the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for group meditation and prayers for all round uplift from the regime of scams, corruptions and all negativities to attain tranquillity and bliss.
Once again I repeat this is an effort primarily for self enlightenment and knowledge of Vedic scriptures 'Swantah Sukhaya but could also be useful to the individuals who belong to the cult of strongly and fervently searching ultimate eternal peace in their life, and who have limitation to read, understand and recap the scripture in English only. Each of these 42 verses has, therefore, been given in five parts, (1) Sanskrit, (2) Phonetics, (3) Words equivalent in English; (4) English translation and (5) purport for its practical application.
In brief the mythology is translated into individual personification of the Lord Self for looking at these dialogues of Krishna and Arjuna for leading an ethical life for attainment of ultimate Eternal Bliss.
