This music can help us to remember that we are all connected that we are all taking part in the same great adventure called life on planet earth.
I want to go beyond the limits and barriers between the different cultures in mixing different musical styles and let them flow and dance together. Music is the one language in the world that everybody understands in all cultures religions and beliefs. Rhythm is the food is the food for the body melodies for the heart and atmosphere feed the soul. My music should touch the listener at all.
The upbeat interplay of diverse cultures meeting in harmony once again reflects Karunesh’s inspired artistry. It is also musical expression of his worldly experience. Born in Europe Karunesh spent years traveling and exploring different cultures before setting in the Hawaiian Islands. All of this clearly influences global village sensual dance grooves the island spirit globe spanning instrumentation with a strong India influence and refreshing ambient sound Deep resonant male vocals sing with a lovely flute a delicate female voice is offset by heartfelt guitar solos and multiple stringed instruments join in on African tribal songs. The unexpected juxtapositions are at once interesting and delightful. Renowned for his emotionally rich ambient music here Karunesh takes us a title further on a moving and meaningful journey.
Karunesh is the Sanskrit word for compassion the artist now lives in Hawaii but was born in cologne Germany. He started out as a graphic designer. After a near fatal motorcycle accident he was hovering between life and death for two weeks. This experience started off his spiritual journey leading him to the Osho Ashram in India Musicians from all over the world came to the Ashram and Karunesh developed the ability to weave different styles and feelings into a living symbiosis of spiritual atmospheres and rhythms to make you dance.
