The Rajasthan Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Arabic Persian Research Institute, Tonk has continuously been making efforts to help the scholars in their research pursuits. In this connection many descriptive and tabular catalogues have been published in the Institute, successfully earning applause from the scholars.
Now the Institute took a new step to go ahead in the way of helping the scholars in their research campaigns with all possibilities to make it easier and easier.
Hence, except of publishing the catalogues the Institute materialized the idea of preparing some useful handlists for ready reference.
So the handlist of Persian manuscripts has already been released and that of Urdu is also complete to be printed while this handlist of Arabic Manuscripts is now going to press.
Before presenting this little task to the scholars I will never forget to thank my colleagues who devotedly did their best to get this work complete well in time.
I hope the scholars will welcome this handlist too as they formerly did.
According to the proverb "Man is to err" if some errors have got place in this trial kindly inform us so that they may be corrected in next edition.
