would like to thank all the people who helped me in any way in my writing journey.
Special thanks go to the ones who made me get into serious writing, which began in February 2018 at the end of my two-year MBA program. My two dozen symptoms of migraines made sure I couldn't compete with others at everything I did in life. As per some rational people who came to know about my disability, I should be depressed instead of doing so many things in life. When I started writing short stories, it was an outlet for me, one that helped me get through the hopelessness of my performance in life. It was a great distraction. Writing helped me stay sane even when I felt horrible sensations.
The practice of writing more than a million words of poems, stories, novels and non-fiction helped me reach a stage where traditional publishing was possible.
I could barely edit what I wrote. Even now, I lack editing skills due to the brain fog symptom I have, apart from the other two dozen symptoms. Still, it feels great to do something interesting and fun even though I am not good enough to win literary prizes or make money through my writing. It's not that my writing is bad. It fades in front of the competition out there. I bet my writing would improve drastically if the brain fog symptom were absent.
I don't write often nowadays as my priority is to be in a meditative state of mind to manage the horrible symptoms I have.
This is the third book published by Garuda Prakashan. They made it possible for me to publish non-fiction, poetry and fiction books traditionally. I will forever be grateful to them. It's a dream come true.
