Right from our ancient ages, it is widely accepted that Sage Veda Vyaasa, the great and immutable author of Mahabharatha has also scripted the various and nuanced Itihaasas (vedic history) as well as Puraanas. The main purpose behind Vyaasa's genius literary endeavours was to teach and awaken the modern man on the principles governing dharma and artha as well as the dangers and trepidations that lie ahead if you fall prey to Kaama (excessive lust and greed). Lastly, the great and immortal Sage Vyaasa's objective behind scripting all these puranas was also to teach the various techniques to achieve moksha (free from all anxieties), once you have acquired the human birth, which is very rare.
Further, the great Sage Veda Vyaasa pontificates that human birth is the ladder to attain moksha as only human species has the ability to devote and surrender oneself to the all-omniscient Lord Vishnu.
Accordingly, Vyaasa wrote Srimad Bhagavatham, one of the greatest Mahapuranas of our times to inspire and induce the human subconscious to attain ultimate bliss by surrendering our all on to the feet of Lord Vishnu.
Through the rich stories full of timeless values, morals and principles, Srimad Bhagavatham instructs the path to mukti, which means liberation from all the worldly bondage and sorrows.
Through this Mahabhagavatam, our idea is to elevate the human mind to a higher level of consciousness as well as drive home the true significance and meaning of bhakti which ultimately leads to jnyaana (spiritual knowledge and wisdom). Once you reach the highest level of jnyaana mukti will follow itself.
This book is not just a word-by-word translation of the humungous 18,000 shlokas that encompass this glorious treatise. Instead, the book is a condensed version of the philosophies, principles and spiritual themes articulated in Mahabhagavatam, just so that by reading and internalizing the themes in this book, people in Kali Yuga are able to get rid of excessive greed and reckless ambition thereby understanding the true significance of Brahmam and Aatma.
It is widely accepted that in Kali Yuga, Mahabhgavatham is the other form of Mahavishnu. Lord Vishnu has all the qualities such as courage, valour, detachment from everything among others. So, those who internalize Mahabhagavatam by carefully reading all the chapters will be able to assimilate all the enriching qualities that embody Lord Vishnu, thereby helping them lead a peaceful and orderly life. This Mahapuraana also helps in getting rid of Kaama (Lust), Krodha (unjustified anger), Lobha (Greed), Moha (excessive desires, Mada (excessive ego) and Matsarya (unhealthy competition leading to rivalries).
Our gratitudes to Giri Trading family as a whole for encouraging and inspiring us to write this mega book.
We take this opportunity to dedicate this literary endeavour on the feet of Lord Vishnu and seek HIS blessings for all the people who read this.

(One who is instrumental in the genesis of this universe, one who is eternally happy, one who is remover of sorrows of three types Aadhyatmika, Aadi Deivika and Aadi Bhautika, to such a Lord Krishna we prostrate).
