She was Maya, a young, beautiful, enigmatic woman driven by desires and dreams. When her father fell and broke his leg, a young doctor walked into the house, entered her dreams, and into her life. They got married. Initially she was excited with starting a new life, redecorating the house and discovering togetherness. But once the shine wore off, the monotony of marriage, life in a small town and the mediocrity of a middle class existence, drove her towards finding new excitements. Reality was suffocating her and her dreams and desires were driving her mad. She sought relief in extramarital relations, at first platonic, then passionate and finally pathetically possessive. But adultery also became as monotonous as marriage. Her self created mirages, her dreams and desires push her towards living in fantasies. She was a lovely woman doomed by her desires and dreams, sometimes tragic, comic, heroic and maybe magical.
