About the book
The author, who is an Ayurveda doctor, has gone through the thesis work during her P.G., and using all the knowledge as an Ayurveda doctor, she can understand the things that one should know for the prevention and treatment of Medodos (lipid disorders) with the help of Ayurveda. She wrote this book for Ayurveda doctors and M.D. scholars who are facing difficulty to understand the concept and treatment of Medodos (lipid and fat tissue disorders).

About the Author
Anjali Goyal has been working as an Associate Professor in the department of Samhita & Siddhanta at Punjab Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Morjandakhari, Sriganganagar, (Rajasthan). She has completed her schooling in Tonk district with first, position in class and has got many prizes in debate competition and dancing. She has got highest marks in chemistry in Tonk district in higher secondary and broke the all previous records of Tonk district at that time. She had done her B.A.M.S. from National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur (one of the leading institute of Ayurveda) and P.G. from the same institute in department of Samhita & Siddhanta. She is very sincere and hard working person. She has published 9 articles in national and international journals and has presented 11 papers in seminars at national and international levels. She came to know the problems of patients suffering with obesity and many other lipid disorders (-Medodos) during her P.G. Her thesis work was on functional aspect of Medovahisrotas (-the body channel responsible for assimilation and nourishment of fat tissues) and trial was done on obese patients. So, she decided to help people, to understand the concept of Medodos and find solution for problems related with lipid disorders by this book.
