Foreword
We are most fortunate that Swami Kedarnath has written a remarkable account of his inner journey to the pinnacle of human existence-Self-realisation, a truly rare event. Swami's experiential narrative provides insights into the inner process that led to his enlightenment.
There are very few lucid publications such as this that chronicle the inner experiences of the ardent seeker on the path to true enlightenment. Swami's account highlights the role of the Guru, the maturation of the seeker, the Ego's deceptions, the dark nights of the soul, surrender, grace, the inevitable death of 'I'- the Ego and the emergence of the inner Master, the Sadguru.
It is important to note that Swami's "psycho-metagraphy," the body of the First Edition, remains essentially unchanged apart from some format and grammatical corrections. However, in this second edition, Swami added another chapter - '12. Epilogue' and three new Appendices about Shri Anandamayi Ma. Much of the creative non-standard grammatical style, such as capitalisation in sentences, has been retained in accordance with the original
intention to enhance emphasis and transmission of meaning.
It is hoped that Swami's extraordinary inner and outer life will serve as an exemplar to inform and inspire others on the path to discovering the one true Self, the Atman.
