Sri Adi Sankaracharya has composed a number of devotional slokas and has written a number of bhasyas and commentaries on our great Vedic and spiritual literature. He has also written some slokas that are aimed at the common man who is keen to take a first step in his spiritual journey. These slokas are very practical and in the form of do's and dont's that will guide a lay man towards liberation.
Prasnottara Ratna Malika is one such gem of Adi Sankaracharya. This work contains answers to common questions that will arise in one's mind about the right and wrongs and provide the best solution for leading one's life in a truthful and honest manner. The ultimate objective of this work is to help a common man in crossing the samsara sagara (the ocean of worldly, materialistic life) and to show him the path of attaining liberation.
I am very happy to thank our students, who transcribed the talks and as well as those who put together all the transcription work in this book format. What we talked about during pandemic time is now available to you and I am sure that it will kindle your interest in spirituality. The language used in this text is very simple and lucid that you will be able to relate to this knowledge in your day-to-day life and make your life more meaningful.
I sincerely pray mother Ganga to bless you all in kindling the fire of knowledge and sustaining it through the teaching as she flows perennially.
