This book, "National Education Policy aozo in Higher Education," is a significant academic work that strengthens contemporary discourse on the Indian higher education system. It is a compilation of selected, peer-reviewed, and edited research papers presented at a one-day national seminar Jointly organized by Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University, Lucknow, and Vidya Bharati Uchch Shiksha Sansthan (Awadh Prant). The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 presents a clear framework for transforming the Indian education system into one that is multidimensional, inclusive, skill-oriented, and value-based. Teachers play a central and decisive role in the effective implementation of this policy. In this context, the present book offers an in-depth analysis of the academic, ethical, administrative, and innovative roles of teachers in higher education. The research papers included in this volume adopt a multidisciplinary perspective and provide meaningful discussions on various dimensions of the National Education Policy 202o, such as curriculum reform, teaching-learning processes, research and innovation, assessment systems, Indian Knowledge Systems, digital education, and institutional leadership. About The Author

     

 

Prof. Jai Shanker Prasad Pandey is a senior Profesor in the Department of Sociology, Univerity of Luckness, with over 25 years of distinguished teaching and academic experience. He has perrimaly served at DA.V. Gallege. Kanput, and BSNV.P.G. College. Luckans holding postmons Imm Lectower ta Professor and Head of the Department. A prolific scholat, he has completed two UGC pred research projects as Principal Investigator and one ICSSH-sponsored collaborative project as Project. Direcane, and is currently leading a major ICSSH research project. He has authored four books, edited two volumes, and published 27 research papers in UGC-listed peer-reviewed journals. Prof. Pandey has made significant contributions to community service, particularly in the empowerment of persons with disabilities, organizing extensive awareness programa, eye danation initiatives, and health camps He has delivered lectures at numerous national seminars and academic institutions, and has served on key academic and policy bodies, Including Boards of Studies, the Academic Council of the Uursersity of Lucknow, and government conmmittees related to disability empowerment.

Dr. Subhash Misra is currently serving as Deputy Director (Research and Development) and Associate Professor in the Department of Education at Bahasaheb Bhimmo Ambedkar University (a Central University), Lucknow. Prior to this, he served in the Department of Education at Sikkim University (a Central University), Gangtok, and earlier in the Teacher Education Department of Unity Degree College, affiliated with the University of Lucknow. Dr. Misra earned his Ph.D. in Education from the University of Lucknow and has been honured by the Acharya Narendra Deva Samajwadi Sansthan in recognition of his research contributions. His academic interests include Curriculum Development, Teacher Education, Inclusive Education, and Education for Sustainable Development. He has published more than forty research papers in reputed national and international journals and has actively participated in and presented papers at numerous national and international seminars and conferences. His sustained engagement in teaching, research, and academic leadership establishes him as a respected scholar in the field of Education.

Dr. Manjul Trivedi is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at Bappa Shrinarayan Vocational Postgraduate College, an affiliated college of the University of Lucknow Lucknow. He was born in Nigohan village of Lucknow district, where he also completed his early education. He pursued his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Lucknow. Subsequently, he was awarded the UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Education and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Allahabad, often referred to as the "Oxford of the East." For the past fifteen years. Dr. Trivedi has been serving as the Editor of the social sciences and humanities research journal Vivechana. He has published more than 20 research papers in national and international research journals and has presented his scholarly work at numerous seminars and conferences. He has also authored three books related to education. His areas of specialization include Educational Psychology and Educational Technology. In addition to teaching and research. Dr. Trivedi is actively engaged in social service through various academic and community-oriented responsibilities. His sustained contributions to teaching, research, and social engagement establish him as a dedicated and respected scholar in the field of Education.
