Dr. Bimal Chhajer, MBBS, MD is a world renowned personality in the world of Medical Science. A pioneer in Non-Invasive Cardiology Science, Dr. Chhajer was born in a Jain family of West Bengal he passed his MBBS form R.G. Kar Medical College Kolkata (then Calcutta) in 1986 and further completed his MD form King George Medical College, Lucknow where he took up a research study to treat patient?s Non- Invasively.
Upon the completion of the study he started working in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital New Delhi (RML) where a particular incident changed his life here and reformed his ideas about the Treatment of cardiac Patients. Post his MD he worked at the famous All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) for Six years as Senior Resident and as an Asst. Professor.
Dr. Chhajer, during this period also got trained by Dr. Dean Ornish who pioneered the life style treatment in USA and proved reversal of Heart Diseases by his life style heart trial to the medical science.
In 1995 after resigning from AIIMS, Dr. Chhajer, started his heart disease programme under the name SAAOL (Science and Art of Living) from Vikram Vihar Lajpat Nagar in South of Delhi which is today the head office of SAAOL. Today Dr. Chhajer, has opened clinics all over India and neighboring countries like Nepal and Bangladesh.
Dr Chhajer, has successfully treated more than 25,000 patients by his program and further through his lectures and seminars lakhs of people have been benefited and able to avoid heart attack-By pass surgery and angioplasty.
President of India Honable Mrs. Pratibha Devi Patil and her husband Devi Singh Patil have also benefitted by Dr. Bimal Chhajer?s 3 day course of SAAOL.
