Book Description
About the CD

One look at his calm countenance is enough to make us understand the greatness of Sri Sri Baba of Shirdi. His message of universal Love and sharing with others has spread across India over the years making Shirdi one of the leading pilgrimage sites of the Country. His message of charity, contentment, inner peace, devotion to God and Guru has grown in importance in modern times. He encouraged his followers to adopt two important elements in their character – a life of faith (shraddha) and of patience (saburi).

Sai Upasana is a musical experience in the sublime vocals of Pandit Jasraj that essentially takes us to the exalted world of Sri Sai Baba in all his glory to attain his blessing and grace.

About the Artists

Pandit Jasraj
"The Golden voice which has mesmerized listeners throughout the world for decades and taken them into a trance making them experience the presence of the Almighty time and again....". "Panditji's music shows the vision of the Almighty in his entire splendor ...".

Perfect diction, clarity in sur and extreme tunefulness, command in all aspects of laya, choice of composition and interplay of the notes with the words to evoke the desired mood and feeling are other highlights of this Rasraj Pandit Jasraj's music. This sensitivity together with the pure classical approach has given his singing a lyrical quality, which is the quintessence of the Mewati style of singing.

Not content with the tried and the tested. Pandit jasraj has not only created over a hundred bandishes but has also traversed the uncharted path of singing Sanskrit verses in pure Hindustani classical style. They have veritably created a major spiritual revolution in classical music. Today he sings ancient Sanskrit compositions with great ease. His inimitable devotional quality of singing together with the sanctity of the Sanskrit verses creates a highly charged atmosphere of the divine. He is a Nayak in the true sense of the word.
