Whenever I think of nature and its manifestations on earth, I feel that animals and birds do lead healthier and happier lives and maintain unity among themselves in contrast with human beings, who are endowed with more developed faculties. Same feeling makes me think of the universal phenomenon like earth, sun, air and water, which possess a sort of natural discipline in them, on account of which, they cast homogeneous influence on all the living beings. I believe that the reason for the unhappiness of a human being lies in the basic inability of his habitat, in offering him the best out of the five elements, that govern his life pattern.
Above point of view had become, in course of time, a conviction and dragged me into the study of the great science of Vaasthu since 1957. I have been pursuing, probing and exploring this dormant science with an ultimate objective of proving to the world that, a House built as per Vaasthu Certainly become a Heaven.
In my long sojourn, I had acquainted myself with various oriental schools of thought in Vaasthu and novated certain redundant concepts. I began my experiments with my own house in 1964, and started staying in that Heaven which has given me every thing I longed for. I opened my new financial carrier in the same year, as a partner in an oil mill and even to-day, it continues to be my main occupation.
During the initial years of experimentation, my better half, who is very co-operative, used to get surprised over the alterations and additions, effected to our house in the name of Vaasthu. I used to tell her that my endeavour is to usher in an era of prosperity in the house and assured her that the amount of investment would never go waste. Further I used to tell her that when my experiments yield results they would become a part of the great science of Vaasthu, which would be pursued and followed by millions. There after I never had to answer her, as all my experiments started yielding expected results and took me aloft in my research.
In May 1989, I had purchased a Swaraj Mazda van and went on an expedition alongwith my ten like-minded friends with a view to observe the power of Vaasthu on various temples, historical monuments, secular structures and industries. We travelled from Benares to Cape Camorin keenly observing the positive and negative effects of Vaasthu on various structures. That tour enlarged my knowledge and gave the exposure and experience to guide others in the field of Vaasthu.
In consonance with my cherished ideal, of releiving the great science of Vaasthu from the clutches of a few selfish individuals and to make it available to one and all, with the ultimate objective of universal peace and prosperity, I brought out a book on Vaasthu in Telugu- titled "VAASTHU SASTRA VAASTHAVALU" in 1987. I am happy that the above book has been well received by the readers and witnessed twenty two editions in a span of eleven years.
I find that some pseudo experts on Vaasthu are trying to copy the contents of my book and are deceiving the general public by claiming to be the authorities on Vaasthu. I sincerely request such persons to understand the great science of Vaasthu and arrive at firm conclusions of their own by experimenting the same on their own residences, before propagating and misguiding the gullible public.
The Science of Vaasthu has undergone a sea - change over a period and the present version of Vaasthu has attained the status of a science. In this connection I must mention the name of the great exponent of modern Vaasthu Shri Mudragada Rama Rao, who did yeoman service to cause of Vaasthu, by trying to bring it out from the clutches of the orientalists. I acknowledge with thanks the efforts of Shri Bhogineni Venkata Ratnam another exponent of Vaasthu, who hails from the village Kavuluru in Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh, for his support and guidance in my endeavour. Further I acknowledge the contribution of Shri S.K.V. Krishnam Raju of SriRampur in Vizag District of Andhra Pradesh for his invaluable suggestions in bringing out the above book. I also acknowledge the services of Shri. T.S. Prakasa Rao of Rajahmundry who helped me in drawing various plans and layouts in the Telugu book.
