About the Book The Śrīmad Bhagavad Gītā, though appearing simple on the surface, is in reality not so simple. It carries within itself countless profound mysteries. Some topics remain untouched even today. Some subjects are so deep that they await proper elucidation. Some concepts appear simple at first glance but are actually burdened with misinterpreted meanings. In this book, I have attempted to touch upon the untouched subjects, to clarify the profound ones, and to dispel misunderstandings by bringing forth their true hidden meanings. I hope that readers will certainly benefit from reading this book.

About the Author Dr. Radha Gupta was born and received her schooling in Deoband (U.P.). She completed her M.A. in Sanskrit from Meerut University and obtained her Ph.D. and D.Litt. degrees from Devi Ahilya University, Indore (M.P.). Her research work on the Yogavāsistha and her previously published books Rahasya, Rāmāyana Rahasya, Gita Rahasya and Secrets of Ramayana (written in English) are available through Parimal Publications, Delhi. Dr. Radha Gupta, along with her brother Shri Vipin Kumar, has compiled a comprehensive reference work on the Vedas and Purāņas titled Purāṇa-Subject Index, of which two volumes have been published.
