This book has been jointly authored by Shri Anil Singh & Shri Ramesh Kumar. Both are Engineering Graduates and have been associated with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan for a very long time. Shri Anil Singh was conferred the title of "Jyotish Acharya from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in the year 1998 and has been teaching astrology in Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan since 2010. Shri Ramesh Kumar was conferred the title of "Jyotish Acharya" from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in the year 2005 and is teaching Astrology since 2017. Being engineers, they have a very good grasp on mathematics. Since long, the, necessity was being felt that some more books/reading material on Shadbal are to be made available to the students. Shri Anil singh and Shri Ramesh Kumar voluntarily devoted themselves to this work of writing this book in english for students and other astrology lovers. The specialty of this book is that the presentation is very simple. The method of calculation is explained in a very simple way with three types of examples and one revision example. Not only this, food for thought for prediction has also been given for consideration.
I sincerely hope that this book will increase the interest of the students towards Shadbal and they will be benefitted from it. Often the question arises, if Shadbal is not used for predictive purposes, then what is the need for such elaborate. Calculations. I am happy that the authors have taken a good initiative by giving a point of consideration for predictive purpose, which will have far-reaching consequences. My best wishes to both of them.
