When it is understood that God, the One Being, pervades and suffuses everything, and therefore is everything, then spiritual healing is totally accomplished".
The Master Dimitris Kakalidis
KLAIRI LYKIARDOPOULOU was born in Athens. She went to school at the American College and completed her studies in pedagogy in the United States.
In 1980 she became member of Omilos Eksipiretiton - the "Servers' Society" Spiritual Centre and received teachings on the study of the self and the emergence of the humans' spiritual nature with the guidance of its founder, Dimitris Kakalidis. For more than three decades, she was President of the Society and was dedicated to its task.
She wrote 20 books, conveying her personal experiences and the knowledge she acquired from the teaching of the Servers' Society, with an aim to demonstrate a dynamic way of life and a philosophical view which can help people to solve their problems when applied. She passed away in 2015, leaving a great legacy of experience and knowledge on human relationships and life.
For her literary work she has received commending reviews by the country's intellectual world. Extracts of her books have been included in anthologies and literary magazines. Her trilogy about the role of man, woman and the couple was approved for school libraries.
Life is a miracle. An endless, everyday miracle unfolding around us and within us every second. The flight of a bird, the lap-ping of the waves, the sun blazing blindingly above us, giving us the gift of life they are all a miracle. The human organism is itself a miracle. Even if we contemplate only the mechanism of breathing, we shall be astonished by the complexity of its functions.
Included within the marvelous expression of life is the miracle of death, the end of existence, the decomposition of form. The creation of a material appearance is as superb as its dissolution. Decay conceals the mystery of life, the transmutation of matter. Through it a new form is born, a new cycle of existence begins. An eternal cycle of synthesis and dissolution, the inviolable law of all Creation.
Humans live within this miracle; they are themselves an expression of that miracle. They do not, however, always recognise this. They often forget it, regarding it as something so simple, so natural, as to seemingly ignore its existence. And so they cease to consciously and willingly give expression to it. They lose its wonderful beauty, and attempt to discover it in certain particular events. They seek the truth elsewhere. They search for strength in the unusual.
They expect love from others. They do not see that their own self is the truth, the strength and the love!
The light of true life is lost this way, making human beings seemingly live in darkness. Of course, there are moments when a flash of lightning passes through their minds and hearts. Moments when the vision of another reality is revealed to their hypnotized consciousness. Humans then experience true ecstasy, briefly discovering themselves, becoming that which they truly are. They become a creation endowed with awareness that consciously participates in its own creation!
The inability of humans to recognise, always and everywhere, the existence of this miracle, constantly distances them from it. Thus, they strive in their isolation or attempt to find the truth with other fellow humans. They build worldviews and adopt dogmatic positions, approving and rejecting. They classify and rank things in the light of their own criteria. They measure life in terms of intelligence, reputation, money or even health. They divide the planet up into continents, countries, cities and villages. They separate hu-mankind into races; dissecting religion, rating faith at different levels, starting with nonbelief. They fragment the one and only Truth of life into the tiniest of pieces, truncated and weak.
All this, all human functions are nothing more than an attempt to unite with the Truth. They simply reveal the conscious or uncon-scious need for the revelation of the essence of life. The means used by each of us in finding our way are not important. Even the mis-takes that are made along this path are parts of it. These are only but a few of the notes in a world symphony played by the Universe itself.
