About The Book .
The Yugavathar Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has taken up the revival of the Vedas and Veda Dharma as one of the important aspects of His Avatharic Mission. As part of His Divine Mission, the Veda Purusha Sapthaha Jnana Yajna was conducted for the first time in Prasanthi Nilayam in the year 1962. Ever since, this Yajna is being conducted in Prasanthi Nilayam as part of Dasara celebrations. This book is a fruition of the efforts put by Late Sri Ghandikota Subramanya Sastry, a renowned Vedic scholar. He had compiled the divine discourses delivered by Bhagawan on different occasions on Vedas and Vedic Dharma in the form of a book titled "Sri Sathya Sai Vedavani" in Telugu. It was published for the first time in the year 1987. The same book is translated into English and brought out by Sri Sathya Sai Sadhana Trust, Publications Division for the benefit of devotees who are not familiar with the Telugu language.
