Book Description
About The Book

The series OUR MYTHS draws upon timeless stories from popular and marginal sources to gently question stereotypes and rigid notions. Through pictures words, the retold stories encourage different ways of teeing and understanding. They carry forward the spirit of oral storytelling and show how myths change and still endure.

VYASA'S MAHABHARATA is the well known story of how Vyasa enlists the help of Ganesha in writing down the long and multi- layered epic that is the Mahabharata. Presented with lively humour and great affection, it shows the very recognisable human dilemmas faced by Vyasa and Ganesha, and enables a new generation of readers to connect personally, in their own ways, to an old story.

About The Author

Arun Kumar is currently pursuing a Masters in Animation and Film Design at the Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay. He spends his free time sketching, and is deeply interested in films, illustration, animation and British humour.
