About The Book
The publication of Don Mario Mazzoleni's first book "A Catholic Priest Meets Sai Baba" brought in its wake unexpected success as well as censure in the Copernicus way. That book was dealing with the message and teachings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. In this second book "A Wish fulfilling Tree", narrating the pilgrim's progress that ended in fulfilment, a rare achievement for a seeker of truth, the author has poured his heart and soul. It is a story of his incessant quest for Truth which found its fulfilment. While holding on to the lotus feet of the Lord, he never despised or forgot the world and the men who fostered and provided him his theological background. Fully conscious of the words of the Italian poet Giuseppe Giusti that a book is worthless, if it does not change people, the author has written this book for those having a thirst for Truth. He extends the assurance that the Infinite Source would wash away all tears and the promised paradise would gush forth from the opened hearts of the seekers. His last testament, part of which is given below, shows the character and devotion of the author: "Encountering the Divine Person of Sai Baba has meant for me the understanding of a synthesis of all faiths contained in all the sacred scriptures, and all religions. Do not think that I have lost my faith in and love for Jesus; now I love Him evermore than before.." This book is published posthumously in honour of the author, a true devotee who followed his conscience till the end.
