About the CD Puranchand and Pyarelal Wadali, the well-known singers from Punjab popularly known as the "Wadali Brothers", are one of the finest and most popular exponents of Sufi music today. They have a diverse repertoire and excel in singing Sufiana qalaam by Baba Farid, as well as other Sufi and Bhakti saints. Their music is an offering to the Divine and they derive immense pleasure and ecstasy in praising the Lord through their devotional music, which they have acquired from the rich traditions of Punjab.

Music With a canvas of music as vast as the ocean, the Wadali brothers have grown from strength to strength by first winning the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 1991, then the coveted Tulsi Award in 1998, and finally the Punjab Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for 2003. Recently they stepped into the world of films with Pinjar and Dhoop.
