In Your Destiny and Scientific Hand Analysis, analyses and discusses the relationship between the lines on the hand and their possible significance in a person's life. The author explains to the reader what the lines and marks on his palms may tell him about the subject. He does not predict miracles or disasters in this book.
The author writes from long professional experience of almost forty years as a hand analyst. In the course of a successful career, has analysed the hands of local and foreign celebrities, professionals and laymen. Numerous actual cases are analysed in this book which is well illustrated with diagrams and authentic handprints.
This book has met with gratifying success. This was clearly shown in my palms and horoscope. The first edition has seen eight reprints. The book is also published in India by a leading international Indian publisher, called Motilal Banarsidass Publishers Private Limited, based in Delhi. The Indian edition is sold in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Calcutta, Patna and Varanasi [Benares] . Certain parts of Chapter 19, titled 'Remedial Measures in Scientific Hand Analysis' have been updated. I have learned the Science of Gemmology from a leading Malaysian gemmologist. Thus I have learned the finer points of recommending astrological gemstones to clients. This certainly has made the chapter on the selection of gemstones very professional in the presentation of this topic.
I have attended many astrological conferences in India. I have attended two such conferences in Bangladesh. The book has been praised by some leading astrologers and hand analysts in India and Bangladesh. Indian hand analysis is world famous and Indian hand analysts have written some of the best books in the world on Scientific Hand Analysis.
India is the cradle of Astrology and Scientific Hand Analysis. It is thus a source of justified pride that the book has been favourably reviewed in 'Express Star Teller', a highly prestigious astrological magazine, sold in India and Malaysia.
The book was reviewed by S. Sridaran in the February 1997 issue of 'Express Star Teller', on Page 50. Among other favourable remarks, this is what was published:
`The book under review is undoubtedly one of the better ones on Palmistry available today. His work encompasses the Indian, Western, and Egyptian schools of thought with greater emphasis on the first mentioned. The treatise is not an outcome of bookish knowledge, but one of actual verification of thousands of hands from various walks of life from beggars to businessmen and murderers to academicians. The chapters are interspersed with case studies and examples to make the subject easy to understand and assimilate. The author, a believer in remedial measures, has included a chapter on gem remedies, which he says can lessen the evil influence of planets and also alter the course of some lives in the hand too. The presentation is tidy, the diagrams are neatly done, and the print is easy on the eye.'
The book has been an eye-opener to many a sceptic. After reading the book, the sharp differences between `fortune telling' and Scientific Hand Analysis will be clear to even a hard-core sceptic. Chapter 2 proves decisively that the hand lines clearly come from the Mind. They are not formed by physical hand movements.
The Laws of Destiny are mysterious but it is possible to lift the veil of the Unknown to a significant degree through the genius of hand analysis.
May all readers grow in Wisdom by studying this book and having their hands analyzed by experienced, learned Scientific Hand Analysts.
Mr. Yaschpaule gives a fascinating exposition of the art and science of palmistry or Hastasamudrika.
Palmistry is an interesting subject not only in itself but because it can be a reliable guide to life. Milestones in life can be foreseen with accuracy years in advance. However, the precise details are a little difficult to glean but not always elusive.
A scientific analysis of the hand can not only help in marital and emotional problems but also play a decisive role in determining academic and vocational aptitude.
Mr. Yaschpaule's systematic treatment of palmistry is backed by years of experience. The art of palm interpretation is difficult and, in the wrong hands, even dangerous. However, a diligent study of this volume can give a good knowledge of the subject and enable one to become a skilled interpreter.
As the author rightly points out, a correct analysis is possible if, in addition to the technical knowledge of the science, one is also intuitive. The intuitive powers can be developed through simple living, a tranquil and equanimous disposition, honesty in all mundane transactions and above all mantra siddhi or spiritual attainment.
The chapter on the history of the science is particularly striking for touching on points usually overlooked by other authors on the subject.
The author Mr. Yaschpaule is a noted palmist. He has been doing commendable work in the propagation of palmistry and astrology through his lectures, books and articles in newspapers and periodicals in Malaysia. As a columnist in one of Malaysia's leading newspapers, he has regularly analysed countless palm-prints of people from all walks of life. He has systematically tried to enlighten the educated public of the scientific foundations of palmistry. Both professionals and amateurs will, I am sure, gain immensely from a diligent study of this book.
The subject receives comprehensive treatment at the hands of the author who spares no pains to simplify the presentation with illustrative diagrams. I wish the author all success.
