Goddess Lakshmi, an epitome of grace and sophistication sits regally poised on a lotus. This artwork is rich in auspicious effects whether it is through the icon of Lakshmi herself or the lotus which is a symbol of purity or the two elephants bathing her in holy waters.

Lakshmi is associated with fertility and prosperity. This beautiful artwork provides ample proof for the same. The elephant is an ancient Indian symbol of fertility and the waters they pour upon her signify the fecundating property of rain. Out of her principal left hand springs a steady stream of coins granting us the boon of affluence. The principal right hand is endowed with the swastika another symbol of auspiciousness, as is the lotus held in the other right hand. The upper left arm supports a filled kalasha or kumbha. This mysterious vessel is a symbol of the womb and a filled one especially of the fertile womb.

Befitting her status, The Great Goddess Lakshmi is shown richly attired, bedecked in the finest and richest of ornaments. The many-tiered crown framed by the elaborate halo emphasizes her divine status.

The upraised circumference of this marble saucer is embossed with flowering creepers and vines, embellished with 24 karat gold.

Truly a discerning collector's delight, who would have present in their home, an auspicious presence.
