This sleek candle stand has a firm square base. With gentle curves it tapers to a smaller square which holds the long, cylindrical metal. At the upper end it opens into a circular plate which has the socket for the candle. The base and the main stand have been cast separately and the two screwed together by a nut and bolt. The stand has vertical lines etched on it. It is a contemporary design, unique in its simplicity, exemplary in its grace.
