Geetha Govindam
Rajeshwari viswanathan started her musical training with T.R. Balu, dsciple of G.N. Balasubramanian. Her musical talents got matured under the tutelage of M.L. Vasanthakumari, to whom she has given vocal support in cancerts over many years. Her mellifulous voice won her the national first Prize award in Light Music. She has been an AIR artiste for carnatic music, besides giving successful concerts over a long period. This present collection of songs from Jayadevar Ashtapathy gives glimpse of her repertoire of mastery over the ragas contained in them.
