The movie follows the reckless chase of villain Ballu Balram (Sanjay Dutt) a young terrorist who escapes from Jail Causing distress and anguish for his Jailor, senior policeman ram (Jackie Shroff) Ram’s fiancée Ganga (Madhuri Dixit) order to help him joins Ballu’s gang to here him back into custody. Ballu realizing her true identity sets out to use her to his own advantage. And in the process he falls in love with Ganga not knowing what lies ahead.
