Madhubani School (Mithila Painting) is one of the skills that was passed down from generation to generation in the families of Mithila Region of Bihar.
Like many other compositions of Madhubani, this one also involves the use of the cow dung over the paper which just took it to another level. As, the Supreme Personality of Godhead Krishna, the lover of the topmost Goddess Radhika who loves cows more than himself and the use of Gau's product in depicting the Lordships surely makes them happier and satisfied.
In this painting Shri Radha and Krishna are shown here as lower age couple and behind them a great use of floral patterns has been done which not only elaborates the whole painting but also makes us understand the importance of environment. It depicts the Lord playing flute while Radhika Rani is getting attracted towards him.
