16" Four-Armed Standing Lord Krishna Playing Flute - Panchaloha Bronze Statue

$1616
Includes any tariffs and taxes

“I am the supreme Vishnu, behold my glory”. This is the declaration of Krishna in his Chaturbhuja Roopa, a vision of his divine persona experienced by devotees who see Krishna as Param Brahman (supreme being).

This unique Panchaloha bronze statue presents Krishna holding his flute in the primary hands and carrying the conch and discus in the secondary hands (attributes of Vishnu).

The poised Tribhanga stance of Krishna is complemented by the strength of his broad shoulders.

Krishna is ornamented with heavenly jewelry- a Kiritamukuta crown, Vaishnava U-shaped Tilak, layers of jeweled necklaces, delicate garments that wrap around him and dangle over his hand and along his legs, and an ornate waist belt.

A beautiful suppleness is visible on the reverse of the statue, in the delineation of Krishna’s form, with gracefulness in the lower half and stillness in the upper body. Elevated on a two-tiered lotus pedestal, Krishna has a sublime expression instead of the usual charming smile, a marker of equanimity, one of the many qualities of Param-Brahman.
