This Ritual Lamp in Brass is a columnar lamp by Nila Vilakku with five spouts. The lamp's column or stem is richly adorned with holy Kalash and flora motifs. Its distinguishing feature at the pinnacle is a circular, perforated, floral motif known as a keyhole finial. These lamps were custom-made for temples and stored in the inner sanctuary to offer warm light to the deities.

Brass is a metal alloy composed mainly of copper and zinc. This chemical composition makes brass a highly durable and corrosion-resistant material. Brass statues can withstand even harsh weather conditions very well due to their corrosion-resistance properties. However, maintaining the luster and natural beauty of brass statues is essential if you want to prolong their life and appearance.
